Haminol 303A resins are a portfolio of HMMM liquid resins used as a crosslinker for adhesion promoting and reinforcing systems in rubber applications. This product offers several advantages over the older hexa methylene tetramine (HEXA or HMT) system.
The chemical name of Haminol 303A is hexamethoxymethyl melamine, which is used as a methylene donor of the direct bonding system between rubber and skeleton material, and can be dissolved in water and general organic solutions.
Rubber binder Haminol 303A reacts with methylene acceptors at vulcanization temperature to adhesion to rubber and skeleton materials. For example, it reacts with resorcinol formaldehyde resin, adhesive RE, adhesive RS, etc. to generate thermosetting resin. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesion of this mating system is lost. Usually, the rubber composed of rubber, filler and methylene acceptor is prepared at a higher temperature; Then, at the end of the compounding process, Binder Haminol 303A and other compounds are added.
