Chemical Properties
This product is colorless to slightly yellow thick liquid. It belongs to the category of thermosetting resin primer, and becomes gel when it meets cold, and can be diluted by cold water in any proportion. It can be diluted with cold water in any proportion. When it is gel, it can be dissolved with 3~5 times of hot water (70~80℃). It can be used in the same bath with cationic and nonionic surfactants. At high temperature, it changes from soluble to insoluble, and is irreversible once it is set. It can be kept for several days in non-acidic Chemicalbook water.
Production method
Add formaldehyde (37% aqueous solution) 32kg into the reaction kettle and adjust the pH value to 8.0 with alkali, slowly add melamine 7.5kg under stirring, heat to 70℃ and stop heating, the temperature naturally rises to 80~85℃, stirring for 1h. Cooling and dilute with water to the specified content, stirring for 15min. discharging the material. That is the finished product.
