Product Overview

Haminol 385 resin is an advanced high-imino partially methylated melamine resin featuring a low degree of alkylation. Formulated with demineralized water as solvent, this resin offers fast curing capabilities without requiring strong acid catalysts.

Key Characteristics
  • Reacts with polymers containing hydroxyl and carboxyl groups
  • Excellent water solubility
  • High tendency for self-condensation
  • Capable of increasing acidity in thermoplastic aqueous polymers
  • Self-catalyzing under normal baking conditions
Application Parameters

Optimal performance is achieved under standard baking conditions of 120-150°C for 15 minutes, where the resin naturally catalyzes the reaction process.
